Greeting
from Dr. Gergely Pataki Hon. Cons.

Dear Visitor!

It is a great honor to work for the cooperation of Bangladesh and Hungary in Budapest.

Our goal is to promote and develop the economic, cultural, educational, scientific, sporting and tourism relations between the two countries. In the developmental contest, Bangladesh is marching ahead at an accelerated pace, thanks to the hardworking citizens.

Bangladesh will reach middle-income level by 2020, and by the end of 2041, it will attain the status of a “Developing” country with your cooperation.

In many developmental indicators, Bangladesh already ranks the highest in South Asia.

I would like to increase your confidence in the bilateral cooperation of the two countries.

I would like to encourage Hungarian investors to invest in Bangladesh, in one of the fastest-growing economies in the world with a bright future.

I would like to encourage Bangladeshi investors to invest in Hungary, too, in one of the safest and leading markets in Central Europe for attracting foreign direct investment.

The important task of the Honorary Consulate is to provide up-to-date diplomatic, economic and tourist information on issues related to Hungary and Bangladesh.

You will find important information on Bangladesh, travel documents and permits, customs and popular destinations on the website.

Please feel free to contact us if you believe that we can help with contacting Bangladesh and Hungary in the topics of  business, tourism or anything else. If you have any questions, we are always glad to answer them!
